Better sleep is an important part of recovery, wellness, and feeling your best. At The Healing Joint, we believe your sleep environment—including your mattress—can be an important part of your overall comfort and recovery routine.
Our patients frequently ask us which mattresses and pillows we recommend. After hearing consistently positive feedback from patients who have purchased Saatva products—and because Dr. D uses Saatva at home himself—Saatva is the company we feel comfortable recommending when patients ask us where to start.
That is why The Healing Joint is a Saatva Chiropractic Preferred Partner. Through our partner referral, patients can receive an exclusive 15% discount on eligible Saatva luxury sleep products.
Why We Chose Saatva
Saatva offers made-to-order luxury mattresses and a range of sleep products. Eight Saatva mattress models have received endorsement from the American Chiropractic Association (ACA): Saatva Classic, Saatva Rx, Saatva HD, Zenhaven, Latex Hybrid, Memory Foam Hybrid, Contour5, and Solaire.
A mattress is personal, and no single mattress is right for everyone. Your preferred sleeping position, comfort preferences, body type, health history, and other factors can all affect what feels best for you.

See How Saatva Mattresses Are Made
Saatva mattresses are made to order and crafted and assembled in U.S. factories using premium domestic and globally sourced materials. The Saatva Classic uses a quilted Euro pillow top, organic cotton cover, dual-coil support system, memory foam and reinforced lumbar support. Saatva delivers its mattresses intact rather than compressing them into a box.

Saatva Rx for Back & Joint Support
The Saatva Rx is Saatva’s mattress specifically designed for sleepers with chronic back and joint conditions. Saatva says the Rx is engineered for enhanced back support and pressure relief, using its Therapeutic Support Core™, Lumbar Zone® technology, body-contouring materials and a supportive-plush feel. Saatva specifically markets the Rx to sleepers dealing with conditions such as sciatica, arthritis, herniated discs and scoliosis. It is also endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association.
For our patients who regularly ask about mattresses because of ongoing back discomfort, including those reading our Scottsdale sciatica treatment guide, the Rx is the Saatva model we would suggest looking at first. A mattress is still a personal choice and is not a substitute for evaluation or treatment of a medical condition, so we recommend trying it in person when possible.
If you prefer a more traditional luxury innerspring feel, the Saatva Classic is another strong option to compare. We recommend trying different models and firmness levels in person when possible so you can choose what feels best for your body and sleeping position.
