Appointment FAQs
Will I receive appointment alerts and reminders?
When you opt in to appointment text messages or emails, The Healing Joint sends booking alerts when you schedule and reminders for upcoming appointments.
What should I do if I cannot find the service or appointment time I need?
Call 480-214-4970 for assistance. Our team can also answer scheduling questions about spinal decompression and Class IV laser therapy.
How do I schedule a PRP consultation?
Call 480-214-4970 to ask about availability and schedule with Talia Fleming.
How do I schedule through VA Community Care?
A VA referral and authorization are required before starting VA-covered care. Once authorized, call 480-214-4970 so the approved services can be verified and your visit scheduled. Learn more about VA Community Care at The Healing Joint.
Can I schedule an examination before receiving VA authorization?
Yes. Veterans who do not yet have VA authorization may schedule an examination using self-pay or their regular health insurance, subject to insurance acceptance and plan benefits.
When clinically appropriate, Dr. D can submit a Request for Service (RFS) to the VA with supporting examination findings and treatment recommendations for review.
The initial appointment is handled through self-pay or applicable insurance. Submitting an RFS does not automatically make that appointment VA-covered or guarantee approval of future care. VA-covered care requires the appropriate VA referral and authorization.
Call 480-214-4970 with questions about scheduling and payment options.
